computer and for driving with multifocal lasik. The technique, brought to the
U.S. by McHenry, Illinois eye surgeon Robert L. Epstein, MD in early 2003, has
demonstrated long lasting results in a year 2007 study. Over ninety-one percent
of patients remained free of all glasses at all times and eight percent were
wearing glasses for less than an hour per week. Multifocal lasik uses an excimer
laser to produce a radially symmetric multifocal curvature onto the front
